Purpose: Point reduction “TRAFFIC SCHOOL.”
Program is certified by the state of Florida.
MAY BE COURT ORDERED.
Offers drivers:

Have adjudication withheld.

Keep points off of drivers’ license.

Maintain “safe driver” status.
-
May hold insurance premium costs down.
-
Violator can attend once a year, up to 10 times in a lifetime.
Goal: To teach defensive driving techniques, behaviors, and attitudes to individuals who have received a traffic ticket, or who voluntarily take the course to improve their defensive driving knowledge and skills.

Course Format:

Four-hour class conducted by a certified instructor.

An interactive format including lecture, videos, and student class discussion.

Classes are available in English and Spanish.

The 4-hour course is also available on CD-ROM, take-home VIDEO, and the internet.
A series of established questions and answers are used to verify student identity during the session.
